What is Email Marketing?

Utilizing email as a way to market commercial message to a certain cohort of individual. It is basically an email that is sent to the customer or potential customer. Email marketing includes any email to the customer that consists of; advertisements, business requests, asking for donations, and soliciting a product.

The main goal of this marketing tactic is to win over the customer by gaining their trust and loyalty. It is also a goal to make the potential, or current customer aware of the company and what they have to offer. According to the authority on digital marketing, eMarketer, there was 1.5 billion dollars spent on email marketing in the year of 2012. This figure is taken from the United States alone. $34 billion was spent on printed ads.
$39 billion was used for Internet ads
$64 billion was spent on television ads.

The point of this statistic is to show that it costs next to nothing to take the route of email marketing. These figures lead into the next section of why email marketing is the better choice. Email Marketing Facts

    AWeber Reporting Service

AWeber gives you a detailed data report that lets you know exactly how things are going. the data lets you know what is working and what areas could use some alterations. Within the report you are able to see many things. You can produce charts that are able to tell you the number of customers that opened the emails you sent, exactly how many of those people clicked on some of the links in the message. You can also see information about people that are already subscribed to you. You can see the location of the subscriber and you can see exactly at what point and why your subscribers had unsubscribed from the list. All of this is very helpful so that you know what course of action needs to be taken. You can work on the areas that need it and keep things that are running smoothly.

AWeber does not have many cons. There is really only one con that it has. And this con is not a big deal at all. The downside to AWeber is that it charges you right away. There is no “free trial” period for you to test out the service. There is a 30-day trial, but it costs one dollar. Now, if you already have a business up and running, I am sure you can spare ONE dollar to try out AWeber. Anyhow, some people do not like that you have to hand over your credit card information right away. The other part to this is that they upgrade you to the $19 plan as soon as that 30 day period is over.
